Face your deepest fears in Ommetaphobia, a spine-chilling adventure set in an eerie, decrepit nightclub. Created for Halloween Horror House, this game challenges you to navigate through hauntingly designed levels where escape is anything but easy.
Gameplay:
- Platforming Adventure: Traverse through the unsettling environment of the nightclub, encountering various platforming challenges along the way.
- Combat: Battle against relentless Flying Eyes. Use a variety of attacks to fend them off and clear your path.
Controls:
- [A/D] Move left and right
- [Space] Jump
- [J]/[CTRL]/[RMB] Dash attack
- [K]/[ALT]/[LMB] Attack
Story: In the forsaken halls of an abandoned nightclub, you must navigate the shadows and uncover the secrets within. With danger lurking at every turn, you’ll need both agility and combat skills to confront the Flying Eyes and make your escape. Can you survive the haunted corridors and find your way out?

I wish this was a little longer so I could meander more, and I kinda wish there was more story/notes.. Maybe I missed stuff? But for what is present, I like the environment and I like the introduction a lot! Beating up the eyes was fun. I'd have liked a bit more parkour; the ending is pretty cool and the final CG is sooo cute!! I'm excited to see what you work on next!

Originally, the game was intended to be much smaller, but it grew as we developed it.
We definitely had ideas to expand it further, but we were working within a tight deadline.

Just beat the game, I'm loving the art style and the boss battle was enjoyable. It was cool to explore and see all the different equipment and scaffolding.
Could probably have used a little more back story for the character who seems interesting. Like why she is there. I'm really impressed that this is a game jam title. Awesome work for the both of you! Definitely going to be checking out the other works.
